Evan Longoria headed to the DL

Today, Rays' third baseman Evan Longoria was placed on the 15 day DL with a strained oblique muscle. He joins other stars on the DL such as Cardinals' outfielder Matt Holliday (appendectomy), Cardinals' starter Adam Wainwright (tommy john surgery), Athletics' closer Andrew Bailey (elbow soreness), Phillies' second baseman Chase Utley (knee inflammation) , Phillies' closer Brad Lidge (Rotator cuff), Mets' Starter Johan Santana (Elbow surgery), and Brewers' starter Zack Grienke (broken rib).
