NL Central: Brewers

Yovanni Gallardo was the only bright spot in the Brewers rotation last year. So they went out and emptied their minor league system to acquire former Cy Young winner Zack Grienke from the Royals and Shaun Marcum from the Blue Jays. Grienke should improve from his 4.03 ERA last year now that he is playing for winning team and Shaun Marcum, who has thrived against non AL East opponents, should thrive in the weaker NL central. The Brewers have at least one more year of first baseman Prince Fielder and left fielder Ryan Braun bating third and fourth in the order and should once again have one of the strongest lineups in the league.
